Need some ideas. Toss me pics and little personal experanxes with these fish. The tank is 96x18x30 LWH

I was thinking rays or aros.

Thoughts on rays and clown loaches?

That tank would be nice to be 30" wide not 18"....

This tank will be too tight for rays but clown loaches will be more comfortable then rays.

This tank would be nice to grow an arowana out but much too narrow also.

Like everyone has said, would be nice but needs to be 96X30X18, instead of 18 deep.

I just search for "Clown Loach and Rays" found a video so it could be done.
sorry could not hyper link I used my phone instead of PC.

I'm growing some clown loaches and will add them to a Ray tank in the future. a 300 gallon, hoping it'll be a 96X30X24.

God... When I looked I had a bad feeling about both of those ideas. I did get her talked into a fire eel or something like that.

I'll search for that. Could be a good looking tank.

Your posts says this 240g tank is 96x18x30 but your sig says your 40 is 96x20x30.

Which is it?:nutkick:

18, my bad lol

Great size tank non the less. Looking foward to your new set up.

GLHF.

If i had it i would go for a lung fish, west african. They are more than capable to turn in 18 inch wide tank and it will grow very well in that tank.

a tank that is 96x18x30 is only 224.41 and if its 96x20x30 it would be 249.35 gallons just to let you know...

Planted tank with Clown Loaches and some Geophagus, Orange Heads, Heckelii, Abalios, Altifrons would look awesome. Rays, and Arrows, you should get a wide tank of no less than 24 inch deep.

I'm getting flamed for a 300 wide keeping Motoro Rays, FYI.
