Ok - it was new when I got it from glass cages in Feb 2014 but it has taken me a while to get it running. Starting with sister in the floor joists etc...I'm by no means finished but some of my stock are in, the cycling is done and the purigen is clearing the tannins nicely. This is not a drilled tank. I plumped three separate loops and painted the pipes black. The ins and out make for a river manifold type set up with most of the current low in the tank. Quitter up top. This is what is running so far:
1 of 2 Eheim 2262 (1500xl) canister filters
1 media filter pseudo DIY made from a Geo reef 420 reactor filled with purigen
A temporary Eheim pro canister that I moved from another tank to help with cycling
1 air Air Force 15 in line air pump
1 Aqqeon 900 circulation pump
Next to connect:
DIY auto drip to eliminate weekly WCs
Apex Jr
Second Eheim 2262
FSI x100 inline sock filter with separate blueline pump
Eheim heater
Current stock:
4 silver barbs left from cycling
Black Jar
3 dats
14" sailfin pleco
Geophagus
With two other tanks of pbass etc. waiting to move
Here are some pics I took along the way

Sorry about the duplicate photo. Still finding my way around the new format.
I bought a set of AI Hydra lights Friday that should be here this week as well as a web cam so I can watch thing from the office!
Here are some additional pics.image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

What are the dimensions on that tank? Looks great!

I know some people don't mind the tannins. I think they just make the tank too dark. Here is a before and after 48 hours shot of Purigen at work in my reactor from Geos Reef. By the way - I had a small leak around the top and George from Geos Reef was quick and great to work with. He cut a new top and sent it straight away.image.jpg image.jpg
