My new 3" Midas

I wasn't planning on getting a Midas but this little one had the most beautiful eyes and would always pay close attention to me when I would look at him at my LFS. Well, the third time I went to my LFS he was still there and I said WTF. I added him to my 75 gallon grow out and plan on putting him into my 180 CA/SA tank when he/she is big enough:

I've never had a Midas before but I'm well aware of their aggression issues. All seems to be going well but it's only the first day. I imagine as the fish gets older the aggression level goes up. Does anyone have any tips for the care of the Midas?

Hmm advice, be prepared for aggression as you know, they grow very fast some times >1" a month. THey are awesome fish to have, i have a midas/red devil, as yours is probably the same, but mines got a little more red devil in it(mines pushing 10"). You will soon fall in love with this fish as i have with mine and many other people have with theirs. My girlfriend likes mine so much she wants her own wet pet so she is getting a trimac.:headbang2:ROFL:
He is a very nice looking, keep us updated.
