My new 4 inch Jar

Just got this little guy a few weeks back, and he's turned into a little devil. He's still a little skittish like all Jars, but boy can he eat. I had 5 neons in the little growout tank he's in and they lasted a few days.

He loves bloodworms, but I've started with market shrimp as his appetite seems limitless.

The only tankmate right now is an eight inch ghost knife and I don't plan on keeping him with anything else as he grows.

cool, he looks like the baby Jar i just bought...your Jar looks like he's starting to color-up already..i can see the red/pink on his tail..

i got my baby Jar on f/d blood worms as well (good stuff)...but, only my big Jar eats market shrimp at the moment..my small one doesnt like it yet.

Nice pick up! All the young Jar's I've seen for sale around here in SoCal are Silver with yellow fins. This little guy has great coloration for his size!

Thanks for the comments. I was really lucky as the LFSs here hardly ever stock aros let alone Jars.

This little guy eats shrimp like there is no tomorrow, and really gets excited when I approach the tank.
