Just picked this little fellow up the other day, i got him for £15 from my lfs, the guy here is awsome and knocked £10 of for me as he does with all the stuff i buy from him, im allways getting some sort of discount. Anyway here u all go and tell me what u guys think, hes in my grow out tank atm as hes way too small for the large tank yet plus that tank has turned into a hospital tank for a while............ENJOY

Nice, what will his eventual buddies be when you move him?

He wont be with anything shamrock, he will end up in the 240G all by himself im trying not feed him too much as when he gets bigger he turns nasty lol

Heres a pic i found on the net, mine looks exactly the same, afterall we are only talking about a baby and when he grows he will turn very aggressive indeed baring in mind he isnt a normal rtc he is an asian rtc and there is a huge diff ;)

I had to separate my 12 incher, he would try to destroy everything in the tank with him at night. He's also not a very big eater - only wants pellets, I can't seem to get him on anything else.

Yeah ive heard and read lots about them being nasty to others, thats why hes going into a huge tank all for himself, have u any pics of urs?? would love to see a bigger 1 from a felow mfk'er.

If he only eats pellets then try starving him for a few days then try something else like squid or earth worms, prawns and muscles work well too but as these are asian rtc they might be alot more fussy in what they eat.

I feel awful as he's in a 55 by himself right now. I had to separate him when he tried to destroy all the fish in his other tank. However, I just picked up a 450g yesterday, so once that is setup he'll move back into a bigger tank and then finally into a pond this winter. However, I may try trading him for a SA RTC when he gets bigger. I'd like my TSN to live in the pond as well, so I'll need peaceful fish if they are live together.
