maybe you should just give him some time. I know my silver arrow took awhile to eat after I first got him just keep trying. If you have to give him a place or two to hide and feel secure just don't use anything he could injure himself on like sharp rocks or driftwood.

Y Yakulan ... sometimes they take a few days to settle and start eating

None of the 3 asian arowanas we have will eat live fishes even now

Try some floating pellets.. maybe she was used to that....
Or you can try fresh shrimp....crickets... earthworms.... mealworms...
i am sure something will eventually tempt her

Also remember they instinctively eat from the surface so maybe try things that float first

It might be the problem, i've had a lot of trial and error with arowanas. One would pace around the tank and not eat then I added some hiding places and he was fine, another one I had would attack and injure himself on any hard decorations or equipment in the tank once he was grown and tear up any artificial plants so I left his bare. guess it just depends.

try floating Aro sticks, or try meal worms (not super worms, he looks too small for them) or frozen blood worms. so take more time then others to adjust to a new tank. how long was the tank setup before adding the fish ? when fish are not eating sometimes it is due to high nitrites and low oxygen in the tank. the tank being empty should not be a problem

Try baby frogs too and you may want to add 1.or 2 parrot fish to compete for food.

Aro usually eats better when there is competition for food

Lastly ,.check with seller what is the aro previous diet
