are you really running 6 filters? I'd switch to an UGF with a 4" bed with 2 powerheads.

8 filters by my math. 6 HOBs and 2 canisters.

UGF? too much hassle and too much waste!

I can only answer, "why not".

If you mean the UGF, well, because i don't feel like dealing with tons of fish waste under gravel plates
