My new additions, zonatus

3x 4/5 inch zonatus,
swapped for my breeding pair of barred Midas, I was worried about getting rid of the barred thinking i would lose the interaction but so far the zonatus are proving to be just as good.

all three looked the same then that one changed and started side slapping the confirmed female, now she has gone the same colour and both are in the corner digging, looks like spawning behavior but not sure

What size tank? How aggressive are they? Me and Jaws777 have been swapping horror stories about our Zonatus.

180 gal, two paired up 3rd put behind a divider, never had fish so out going so quick.
i was worried they would not live up to my barred midas but so far so good
the aggression to the 3 rd was bad, got to it in time and will look at selling tomorrow

Zonatus are a handful. Equal to a Midas in personality I'd say. Mine are more bold than my Midas. My Midas is pretty mellow though.
