Pretty pleco!

Beautiful species- as are all the Hypancistrus. Just as long as it has a cave to hide in, and gets fed it'll be happy. They are omnivorous but to be honest they'll prefer the meaty food you through in. Won't be able to resist bloodworms, shrimps etc. I can only get this genus on peas if anything, and occasionally potato/sweet potatoes. Theres a pleco dietry sticky too if you want to consult that.

Cool thankyou. I do feed bloodworms to my other fish along with brine shrimp and larger pieces of shrimp. I will definitely have to try the potatoes. I have also started feeding my other fish some peas and mashed peas so hopefully this little guy likes them too. Thank you so much again :)

I have had the funniest thing happen ever since this little guy came home and I don't know how to explain it lol. Ever since I put him in my EBJD has been right by his side and barely ventures far from him. The only thing I can think of is he is in love with the pleco anybody else have something like this happen?

Yeah it is the wierdest thing usually the EBJD is allover the tank but since the pleco came home he follows him and has even like rested ontop of the Pleco and right next to him. The Pleco doesn't mind at all and if any of the other fish come near him he goes and hides. I should just take it as a good sign lol I hope :) I will have to get a pic sometime today maybe.
