Thanks fellas, yes he is from a LFS. gonna see what he likes to eat and start pumping him up and post so more photos. I Being in Canada its harder to obtain Cichla with location tagged but in the spring I will be adding some more. Here Oliver Lucanus is a good source for amazonian fish!

Well I think he still needs some time to settle in cause he still is pretty skittish and he watched a piece of massivore drop a half inch by his head. Not eating. I dont know what he is used to eating. Any advice guys on the azuls? Are they hard to convert? I think tomorrow I will try market shrimp.

I'd give it a few days before trying to feed just from the shock of shipping some hit day of arrival and some take weeks but it will come around

Start with blood worms, krill, get him eating and keep the tank temp 89/90 degrees. Use the pellet training method gangster uses works wonders. Keep the updates coming :beer:

Give him a few days.....what else do you have with him? Start with bloodworms and go from there, and if you have any other cichlids around the same size that's already on pellets that will help too.
