I acquired a baby 3 inch Fahaka about a week ago and he doing great in his 125. He is already eating shrimp, baby crayfish and snails. Any other suggestions on a varied diet?

So cute!! I remember when mine was that little. Still growing like a little weed. She likes little shrimps, clams, krill in moderation, and little crabs. The crabs make a huge mess, though. She also has a piece of live rock in there that she likes to chew on. It keeps her beak healthy.
Tempted to trade in my 2 gsp for a fahaka or mbu

I recently traded my Target puffer for some other cool fish. I love puffers, but he wasn't happy unless it was dark all the time. My Fahaka is happy as long as she can see us.
Fahakas have a really nice habit of digging into sand when they are juveniles, it may continue into adulthood too. Its very amusing to see them burrow themselves and act like they are invisible with only their eyes popping out. Fahakas are fast growing and smart, stimulate their body by providing space, like you did and now stimulate their minds by providing complex decor and subtrate.
