My new Baby FH!

Hey. I'm excited about my new FH. He is 3 1/5" and I am so in love with this little guy!!!

positives: great body form, nice finnage, teardrop plum, kok potential and short snout

negative : plums are not full (does not run through the entire lenght of the body)

overall, it's a great catch!

just dont overfeed the fish to give way for the kok to catch up. what are you feeding him?

I haven't fed him anything special yet. I got a sample from a tropical fish store and I'm feeding him that. I think the brand is Sao Feng, and its made for parrot fish. I actually like not having a full plum throughout the body. When the plums are singled out through the body, it will resemble chinese characters in adult FHs. Thanks, I am really enjoying him. I can tell that he will be my first masterpiece.

if its available there (i think its available online), try to get hold of chingmix headbooster SP80. you may also use humpy head and grand sumo red. i suggest you occasionally give him prawns - in bitesize chunks to help in the coloration and the kok. a heater may also help

Yes I have heard of both of those FH food. I like the chingmix, seems to be the one more people are using for kok growth. I have a heater in there, its not in the pix but its there. Thanks.
