My New Baby Tiger Oscar...What else should he be fed?

I got a new baby tiger oscar (2'') and today is his first not-too-shy day. He was out and about swimming while I was in front of the tank. Right now he's eating Hikari Gold, earthworms, a couple other bugs I find, and HBH Oscar pellets. What else should I give him? I was thinking frozen bloodworms but he's too small to eat an entire cube. What should I do with that?

Wonderful baby Oscar! They're my favorites (as I've said many many times). His diet sounds great but also be sure to also get him eating veggies when he's young like this. Peas, chunks of zucchini, etc. You can always thaw the bloodworms in a small cup, keep it in the fridge and give him some of them several times a day. Enjoy him, they grow SOOO fast.

I just tried peas (no shell) and he ate it faster than any of my old oscars did.

The BW cubes breakup in the water as they attack it. But besides that the diet is good. You can go a little cheaper by buying raw shrimp. Just pull off the tail and chop it up. Omnivores.
