My New Betta & Tank

I got a 3 gallon tank yesterday and got a beautiful betta named Ed. He is very happy, he loves his tank. I really like him. He is always flaring, lol. But he's really inspecting his new tank. It has a filter, hood, lighting, everything. I really didn't have the money for it but wanted a betta really bad, lol.

I got the biggest one I could afford. He's really swimming around in it now, adjusting very well. He seems very happy. Im glad I decided to get it. What I don't get is why they keep them in cups, it's cruel.

nice little setup . . . as long as you have a light, you might want to consider trying some real plants instead of plastic . . .

Thanks! I do believe bettas need some sort of filter or if not clean it every day. There food gets all moldy.

Oh I kill any type of plant but I will give it a shot. I saw some really hardy ones at Big Al's I can order from them.

I REALLLLLY wanted to get some bettas, as the petco by me gets some awesome ones. Wanted to do a 10g with a divider for 2, but I have no room for that I may have to copy you lol.
