My new big tank

So last night I bought a tank that I have always wanted it's 8X2X2 240 gal! I couldn't pass it up but now I'm trying to figure out some fish I could put in it I'm thinking some far and a red tail but I want some mean and aggressive monsters any help?

Amphilophus--citrinellum, labiatus, or a pair of lyonsi. lyonsi are endangered in the wild, they'll be extinct if hobbyists don't keep them around. Or, you could look into some vieja--breidohri, argentea, melanurus/synspilum, fenestratus, bifasciatus if you can find some, zonatus. You could put a bocourti in there--they get huge, they grow fast, awesome fish. People who have Pearsei swear by them. If you want over-the-top mean and agressive fish, look at a Trimac, or a Midas, or a Chancho. You could do a breeding pair of Midas in that tank maybe.

Or, you could go a totally different direction and just fill that tank with driftwood and Pleco's. Some Panaques, gold nugget maybe.
