MY NEW BLACK AROWANA(PICS)

I just picked him up today. i got him from alberto at aquaticthechnics. very happy with him hes smaller than i thought he would be which is a good thing. i thought he would eat my betta haha. but not yet. right now hes eating feeders but im gonna start switching him over to other foods(WHAT WOULD YOU RECCOMEND?????).
Anyways here are the pics. i will take more pics tomorrow when hes not so stressed out (hes in the tank now)

btw the tubes are for the air stone drip line and a thermastat
