My new Brandti

Im waiting for my new Serrasalmus Brandti to arrive this morning,does anyone here own 1??I understand they reach about 10 inches,and thats all i pretty much know about these guys.I have owned a 12 inch Black Rhom and about a dozen Red Bellies.Could anybody give me some info on Brandti"s??I"d really appreciate it.Thanks!!!

i have a 6 inch brandti and he is a great fish. very active for a serra and always greets me when i sit in my chair next to the tank. he loves to swin in the current from the powerhead. i would say he likes to eat earth worms the most. gl with your new p

They are very much like any other serra in terms of care and good keeping. Good luck and nice pickup

just make sure there are dead spots for him rest if he wants to. for the current i just set up the jet on the return of my canister filter. waht size is the brandti you are getting?

5-6 inches,the thing that worries me is that i dont have a power head.
