My new C.Cincta

I have been frequenting the crenicichla forums on here and have been gathering info, as I am about to construct a full scale pike cichlid collection. This is my first addition, a cincta pike from jeff rapps at TUIC. Theres also a C. sp Belly Crawler in the pic with him. Isn't he purdy?

yep, white line in dorsal. My female has it also.

Alright then well 'her' it is! I never was good at differentiating gender, I never got into breeding so it never became priority! I hope she gets big quick! I'm growing her out in a 55 currently. On a diet of bloodworms at the moment. Still working on getting her to take some omega pellets and then NLS.

SO. i came home today, and i found the cincta with a VERY bloated belly, and the sp. belly crawler pictured up there was gone. theres a 13 dollar feeder. wow.

haha theyre awesome. the belly crawler wasn't a good addition anyway. SIGH.
