Nice looking rays but don't they get rather large?

I've seen 1 in my lfs thats about 22" disc with a clear white underside and a nice dark brown surface with loads of yellow star patterning.
Wish i had a pic so i could post it then you would see what i mean.

Trust me ade it looks amazing and every time i see it im very tempted lol just wish they did'nt get so big. My tank is large enough to house it and i have the room but its also a male and very aggressive and might batter my superspot and i don't want that!

Any idea what's the growth rate like?

Not a clue but the 1 in my lfs has not grown much in the last year maybe 1 or 2" at the most.

Beautifull ray, I have one ,just like it, I am able to hand feed it.I will have picture next time to share.
Congratulations, also good idea to keep it with such dark bottom, my is on clear bottom and does not shine as good as yours.
