ok im done...haha

nope honestly no filtration cause they are young i do water changes every two days...if there is too much of a current i fear i might lose a bunch...and the mom was put into a holding cup cause i could get her to take a picture nicely in my 29 gal female tank...but ya any who once the are bigger i think i might make a home made 3gal bucket into a pond bio filter...but thats down the road.

Makes sense. If a goldfish can live in a gallon of water w/ no filter then I guess that should work.

It's a step in the rifgt direction...

I think we need to define ponds a little better...

I know it's got to be smaller than 10 acres...but? :D

:j/k: Have you tried a sponge filter, worked great for me.

Keep us posted on their growth.

actually once this spawn grows out i plan to put both tubs in ti ground one flowing into the other...like a mini water fall...and hopefully i can do it so its a gentle fal and yes having a sponge filter with a pump and still use it as a grow out pond for the bettas...as my 55gal is taken up by the fm xcon im going to try and make hybrids with...but yes i know they techniqally arent ponds but they will be...

Hope springs eternal...I've got several 5g buckets around with water lettuce / tadpoles / mesquito fish. :D

Are those polystyrene drums? (I was thinking you could use 'great stuff' to attach the two together but nothing sticks to styrene).

Wunder if you can cross betas with pacu = pretty monter fish :screwy:

Keep up the good work.
