55 gal with 2x emperor 400's. using 2 small boxes of fluval bio rings along with purigen polishing bags and the standard E size sleeves with a brick of filter floss shoved in the back chambers. here is a video. sorry for quality, used my iphone camera. You can hear my wife talk in the beginning. she apologized on playback. I'll post a list of what species I have in detail when I have the time to look it up. I know I have...

albino red fin
acai
2x electric yellows
m and f kenayi
arctic blue
two types of peacock

bumble bee
and a couple others I can't think of the names of right now. If you can identify that'd be cool.

IMG_0509.JPGIMG_0511.JPGIMG_0527.JPGIMG_0524.JPGwell I ran to petsmart to grab some frozen brine shrimp and decided to buy a clown loach on a whim. mistake. now I have an ich/ick outbreak. I've already started the hot water/salt treatment. I guess it will give me more time to build the stand for the 75 gallon tank to replace this one. here's some more random pics followed with the depressing sickness.

I'm building a real cabinet for the 75. it's going to be running an eheim pro 3 2075, so I'm ditching the dual dual HoB's. The cab is going to be able to look like an entertainment center with closed doors, but have extra depth to run the hoses behind it. I was thinking of building the lower access completely open so if I felt like being more insane with my filtration like I have been, I could turn the 55gal in to a sump, with plants. get a natural crisp.

on a side note my red jewel seems to be growing eggs inside her. seems like the perfect excuse to start a 10 gallon isolation tank. Once I make progress on the stand for the 75 I'll start a new thread about it. You'll understand what I'm saying when it's done. I plan on making it out of maple and giving it a real dark stain.

update: Have the 75 running now. here are some pics.

filtration is an eheim 2075, magnum 350 using the 8 micron water polisher, 2x marineland penguin 400's. I'm still hammering out the design on the sump at the moment. I have a 950gph return pump and I already have the overflow. I also have a 100gph pump I'll be using on a 15w aqua UV sterilizer.

Can I overstock my tank yet?
