MY new clowns a greedy pig..

i now have removed the nasty cichlid and my clown is much happier and hes become an absolute pig when eating. he eats jbl cichlid pellets which is great cos its easier to feed pellets than fish.
so im expecting a good growth rate from him!!!
is anyone elses ck greedy?

the tank is now a bit empty as the ck is destined form my pond when hes big enough.
I was thinking of adding some more fish.
option one is
peacefull south american cichlids such as
festivums
severum
eartheaters
or
option2

10 - 14 3" mixed mbuna the less aggressive types eg labidocromis etc

or option 3
2 firemouth cichlids
2 sajaca
2 convicts (both female)

or

a trio of frontosa

does anyone keep them with the above and how do they get on
or any further advice

I used to have my 4 inch clown with some geophagus silver dollars and a frontosa but i've moved him into a 2 foot for a bit he went very thin and didn't get any food.

That's great! Mine has only eaten 2 worms and a piece or two of flake in the last 2 days I've had him.
How big is he and how long have you had him? Is it a hider?

ive had him a week or so and it spends most of its time moving about and floating next to plants.
its 4" long.

Yeah i just fed mine a load of prawn last night he loved it.

My Pbasses prevent my CK from being a pig. But it's still bigger than the both of them

Mine is definitly a piggy..he swims to the top and as soon as the pellet nears the water he takes it from my fingers.. i have to check his tummy when i am feeding him because he would keep eating until death.. as soon as i see his tum get rounded out i stop.. which usually adds up to three Arow pellets broken into smaller pieces.. They are great.

what kind of pellet's does everyone feed their ck? sorry, dont mean to thread jack. just thought we are on the topic of food. and dont want to clog up the forums anymore.
