I fed him on some white bait this morning had to take it out and re size it he's couldn't swallow it ... lol but when i placed it back into the tank he swallowed the lot of it.

I'm going to fatten him up and try him back in the 180 gallon i'm thinking befor i put him back in there to get some sort of an artificial floating plant so he can seek refuge if the Oscars give him a hard time again. Got any ideas where i can get one from Dan ? Or what's even the best stuff to use ?

I think a tube would be better for the bichir.
Go b&Q and buy a length of drain pipe, job done.

Word of advice.......seal up your tank well.......lost one this way.......unfortunately, quite common.
