hey guys i got this dovii about a week ago. its nicaraguan. whats the diifference between nic and costa rican? and why in the crap did my text change to red halfway through typing. pics arent great,bare with me.

From what I've read here on MFK, the Nicaraguan Dovii are more riverine-like with longer more slender bodies and have more blue coloration. Costa Rican Dovii are stockier built with more red coloration. This is only what I've gathered here, I don't have the personal experience to know for sure. It seems lately, some of that went out the window.

cr's are yellow base or "gold" and thicker then a nic. imo a hell of alot more aggressive too. both still look very nice and i think your little guy is going to look great!!! nice pick up! 100% male dovii. i would say nic but hard to say with the pics given. good luck with him and kiss the frog good bye!!! lol
