Before anyone tries to basically yell at me for buying one of the most aggressive fish, let me say that I do indeed understand the danger to my tank.
I also plan housing him by himself in the future so I will not have to worry about the death of all my other fish.

Anyways here is a pic of him, hes about ~3 or 4 in

Nice! He does look like the costa rican race. Hes got some good color even at his small size. Should look amazing as he grows.

i want it sooo bad! I wish there were doviis that size at my LFS. They only have 1/2-1 inchers or at last last time I was there(i was there a few days ago). Is it from rapps? Hopefuly it will be an amazing male.
 
I was very surprised that my lfs had them (like 6 or so about his size). I was actually going to order from rapps, but then some of my buddies and I went to the fish store and I couldn't pass up on getting this guy.

Noboudy could pass up on that! you have to pay shiping to get it from rapps. I bet it cost less at the lfs beacause there is no shiping.
