I got my new Fahaka Puffer "Chip" today, he live in the same tank with (2) Pink Tail Chalceus and (6) Flagtail Prochilodus. Here is picture of "Chip" my new Fahaka Puffer.

Great puffers to have. I agree though, if he gets big enough while still in the same tank, those tankmates, may become swimming dinners.
My LFS got some FW red lobsters in, and I got a few, and my puffer attacked them but didn't eat them quickly at all. Also, he left one of them alive, and it ended up dying later, probably didn't help that I clipped his claws off.
damm ur lucky... ive been tryin to look for a fahaka for 2 weeks now. HOW COME THERES NO FAHAKAS IN SOCAL!!!!!! IMMA KILL SOMEONE IF I DONT GET MY PUFFER!!!!

did you guys ever feel a crayfish , they are not what they appear to be they are quite soft . I'm checked because i wanted to see if in was helping to trim my fahakas moth but it isn't...I guess the frozen shrimp must be doing the trick because he's teeth don't seem to be growing
I use ramshorn snails to trim my puffers teeths, but he also gets crays, and red claw crabs, and market shrimp.
