Anyone have any info about what these guys like other than snails and krill?

It's about 3"

Their main diet is snails, mussels and crustaceans. Shrimps with shell and Crayfish I purchase from the FisH BaiT Store. Keep in mind that a puffers dentition grow continously to compensate for wear. If you do not provide the right food the teeth will grow and block the mouth. Fakaha's are quite the "characters". When taking food that is not particularly enjoyed the lips are drawn back to reveal the teeth. In such cases the food is not swallowed right away but chewed over many times.
If you watch for this cue, you will know what your puffer enjoys eating...

I had one that really enjoyed feeder goldfish probably cuz his previous owner had fed it goldfish...and I have had a baby who never ate goldfish and never will???

Thanks, I went and got a bunch of small snails from the lfs and it didn't take him more then 5 min to find them.

rallysman he's in the 75gal in the bedroom. I moved all but 3 fish out if it, I left the 2 female " electric blue" ahli and 1 jewel in there with him. I wanted to see if he would do ok with other fish but I didn't want them to be too agressive.

SO TINY AND CUTE!!
The one we got from Tim shot from 4" to about 9-10" I'd say pretty quickly.
He ate krill for a while, but now all I think he eats is shrimpies!!

I gave $40 for him.

I kept talking about them and when the owner of a lfs that I know saw them on the available list he got 3 in.
