My puffer eats them too except he/she is only about 3-4" so I feed tiny crabs once a week. Jiggly-Puff (my daughter named him/her Lol) eats crabs, shrimp (2X's a week), crayfish, soaked pellets so its not as hard, snails and pieces of Lobster from the market. Im trying to find somewhere local that sells clams but no luck so far.
What else are you feeding your puffer? These guys can eat and im doing water changes 3X's a week at 50% in a 60 or 70gl corner grow out tank.

If I were you, I would not drop another crab in until the first one is gone. That way, you will avoid making the first crab suffer for too long, and you will avoid too much food and a messy tank.
Congrats on your new Fahaka!
