My new FH

I thought I'd post up a couple of pics of my first flower horn. I'm originally from England but now live in the Middle East, it is really hard to get good quality FW fish of any type here so he isn't going to be any show winner but I think he is kinda cool looking.

This pic is from the day after I picked him up, on the 1st of Jan . . . .


and this pic was taken today . . .


He has a 75G to himself, filtration is from a 30G sump with 2000lph pump. I reckon he is 2 1/2" from tip to tail. At the moment I am feeding Hikari Cichlid Gold exclusively.

So you don't think the lack of a strong flower-line effects the overall look? Sorry if this is a silly question I am still trying to work out what makes a good fh. Of course it is down to individual taste and I like mine but it is nice to get some understanding of the wider hobby too.
