This is the biggest Firemouth that i have seen in years at least 5 - 6" his colors are gorgeous,just wish i could get him to eat......My new Firemouth....

Nice pick up! I woulkd love to know how long it takes for T. meeki to reach that size. Mine are all 2"-3". Love the coloration.
Nice. I absolutely love firemouths, but their temperaments vary very much. I had 1 that stood his ground and picked fights with my breeding pair of cons, and another one who got killed by my breeding cons in a matter of minutes.
Makes me wish I wouldn't have given my firemouth away to an LFS worker. He was a big boy. Constantly picked fights with my convicts, and never backed down. Refused to be stuffed to the side of the tank.
