I started out with a tiny pond that I am now using as my filter/waterfall. I then got a free intex pool liner, but the pond was only 17in deep....so I bought a 40 mill firestone liner and dug the deepest part to 3 ft so I can have some koi. I still need more rocks to go around the edges, but I am happy with how it turned out :headbang2 It would have been easier to build the deeper pond in the first place....but I usually do things the hard way :screwy:

you will have to be signed in to see photos.....used code from pics uploaded to monsterfish...sorry

Looks nice, I wish it would stop raining here (and warm up a sight bit) so I can finish mine

Nice upgrade...

Did the equipment get an upgrade?

well...I bought a bigger pump 2100gph...I plan on upgrading my diy filter system once it warms up.

Looks good. You have really progressed from the original pool/pond. I look forward to what another season (jealous of your climate) will bring.

thanks! I can't wait to have a few huge koi in it. I have one koi (small) right now. I plan on 4 or 5 koi total. I can't afford the huge koi, so I guess I just have to wait a couple years for the small ones to grow :)
By the way, I really like your pond...very cool!
