Three days ago i got my first arowana! Im pumped to watch it grow, and i am excited just to have one. they are amazing fish. I got mine from my lfs for 35$(i feel like this was cheap. he was listed as 55$ but i am a regular at this store
) i would say it is 3.5 to 4 inches, and its a silver arowana, i didnt mention that hah. Right now it is in a 30gallon long, just to grow out with a couple small silver dollars. I will move it to my 125 until he is nearing 2ft and then i will bring him to my house him in my uncles 300 gallon tank, so i do have a plan for it when it gets huge.. for the past few days he has been pigging out on dried shrimp, frozen blood worms and has began eating hikari sticks, i have not tried live food yet.. I just thought i would share with all of you Aro lovers, and i will post pics as he/she grows!
