here is a pic of my new flower horn i would like to know if it's a male or female if anyone can tell from this pic the lfs said he was a male but theres not much of a hump so i was thinking female maybe

the girth on him says male to me, hump has nothing to do with male/female

hard to tell. i'm thinking female...does it have a spot on its dorsal fin? most of the females i've kept have a spot there.

no, no spot i was thinking female too but he was sold as a male and the dude said he bred them he had 2females and this one in separate tanks but i just didn't see the hump so i figured it was a female i was looking for a male
