I am from America so I don't know what is available in India but from what I've learned from other members in India there is a food called humpyhead XO which seems to be the most common one over there.

The best diet for a flowerhorn is a varied diet. The more food the better but you're probably going to want 1 staple pellet which you can feed with something else every day. Some of the leading cichlid food brands are hikari, omega one, and new life spectrum. If you can get your hands on any of them they will be best for your flowerhorn. Freeze dried or frozen krill is also commonly used to enhance reds in flowerhorn.

There are also a few specific flowehorn foods such as grand sumo, chingmix, and hai-feng but chances are the won't be worth the money for your fish.

He's going to end up eating and killing all of those tank mates eventually. You might as well take them all back and trade them into the pet store for some food or something.

Nice fish. But 60$ is a lot for that fish. it wll attack the oscar. Just keep it by itself. It will do better

Looking good

i dont for a minuite think FH's are cutesy little darlings, i know they are killers! but i have kept one for about 2 years in cichlid comunity and he only killed one fish, an albino oscar that was nearly twice his size, he hasnt touched any others, and has had a convict and Synspilum go in the tank half his size!

fights with my nicaraguence from time to time, but nothing brutal, based on personal experience i think FH agression is over rated.
