My new flowerhorn... My friend said the so-called-chinese-like writing on its head means middle... Like simplicity... Hehehe... Is this flowerhorn a zz?... and can anyone tell me if its a male or female?...

looks male to me if you notice the fins are starting to develope and are becoming long and pointed and he looks like he is starting to develope a kok so i would say it is male anyway nice fish
 
Yup... but the genital looks female to me... Ive search the internet and it says that a male have a pointed down thing under his belly... and a female has a degreed slightly pointing down... v shape an u shape thingy... thanks either way guys... any recommendations on food so that his kok will grow bigger?... or it depends entirely on genetics?...
 
Yea... the marking on its head... i dont know how to insert a chinese writing here... what does it really mean?..

中 means middle. but i don't see it lol. as the kok gets bigger, it'll change so you won't know what chinese character you'll end up with lol. you might end up with 屎 lol.
 
Hehehe... I would prefer if it have that mark on its head if it grow bigger... at least theres a mark on it... sigh... -_-
