Just picked up a 1.5 inch freddy, started eating day 1, very active, hoping too see if a male or female soon, currently living in a 50 gallon tank alone

Nice man. Keep us updated with a growth thread If you can. I don’t think I’ve seen one on a friedrichsthalii (formerly loisellei) before.
Yeah I'll keep you posted, I feel like growth will be quick for some reason
So I upgraded to a 150 gallon, got it for a great price and came with a 4 inch tinfoil barb and 2 clown loaches, I added the freddy in last night, so far no aggression towards the other fish kind if just hides in his/ her cave, I was considering growing out a 4 tiger shovelnose I have in there until I upgrade but not sure if the freddy will attack the catfish
