Has anybody ever had this experience? Got two spotted gars today, about 6inches long and within 15 minutes in my 170 gallon tank he ben his nose up. Seems to be fin otherwise but will it stay like this forever? I will post a couple pics tonight.

That's your own fault; it's in way too large of an aquarium for its size. It may get a little better with time, but odds are that it will always have a somewhat bent nose. Also, I hear that the "Gar Legality Around the World" sticky is some great reading as well as the other stickies.
