damn that is beautiful  ,looks like a underwater garden and im liking geos more and more are they easy to feed, what size tank? btw merry christmas to you :grinyes:

sweet tank looks like its in the 150gal range

Thanks, the tank is a 125 and the Geo was eating shrimp pellets right away. He digs constantly! so he may not work out so well in the planted tank.

The tank looks great!

Nice pickup too :)

their diggers huh?......hmmmmmm :( , hopefully they wont do any damage and keep the substrate clean cause im def thinking bout getting one

mate, your tank looks great!!! let me just suggest that you fill it with "eartheaters".
buy yourself the book called..south american eartheaters....and find whats available in the states ...you blokes are so lucky with whats available to you...yeah, fill it with eartheaters like geophagus altifrons and geo srinamensis(bracibrancus) and even juruapari (satanaperca lucasticta) they'll all get along like a house on fire. and you'll be lucky to have a death of any. you should also have what they call dither fish(some thing like congo tetras or clown barbs that will actively feed and keep you real fish out competing for food . i reckon you sholuld try to get 6 or7 of each spieces (you can have as many of the dither fish as you like) they'll keep turning over the gravel and they won't bother your plants. they grow fast and thier colours are amazing...............good luck with em. all the way from australia!!!!!
