He should be the official mfk Texas because the M on his side lol. He's really light still he's only been in the tank since last night. He get right in my face if I get too close to the tank.

Love the eyes! One of the coolest fish in the hobby. I'm going to need a separate tank to get one. I've heard they can be rowdy. Seems like it would make a great wet pet.

If you can get one you should. They have all the appeal of the large ca/sa cichlids and are very owner responsive. They will beg for food when you walk in the door and flare at you and try to attack if you get too close. They are beautiful fish.

I gave this texas to a friend and he has spawned with a female flowerhorn / midas cross. I seen him recently and it is growing nicely.
