I just got an 8" green terror. Im adding it to my peacock bass tank. The cichla range from 5-7". I have read that they will be fine together but i was wondering if you guys have experience with this mixture. Here's a couple shots of my new gt. I think it is a great looking fish. I really like the lips.IMG_2354-1.jpg downloadfile.jpeg

180 gallon for now 6ftx2ftx2ft. Soon to upgrade to 300+. I still haven't decided what dimensions i want to get. They have plenty of room for now, but it wont be long and the cichla will be to large for the 180.

Thanks. I think his/her color is great too. Still not sure on the sex. Im not really big on cichlids other than cichla, but when i saw this gt i had to have it.

Always through about getting one of these guys. Kind of reminds me of some saltwater fish when I take a quick glance.

Awesome looking fish mate it's a stunning specimen gotta be happy with that score. Almost 100% sure you got a male there too. Should be fine in a 180 n then 300 with cichla, sounds like you'll have plenty of room. Although I have never kept pbass before so don't know what they'ed be like if 2 ended up pairing off though. Awesome fish either way.

I believe its a male. I think i see the start of a hump. I also agrre about it looking like a saltwater fish. Kind of reminds me of a saltwater parrot fish. The ol lady told me she saw no scuffling between the gt and the cichla today so thats a good sign. The addition of the pellet trained gt has got my small gar eating floating pellets now, which is awesome. Hopefully he'll pellet train the cichla as well.
