My new hypostomus (ex-cochliodon)

Double yellow black spot butterfly whatever-they-call-it.

Any ideas where this species originates/collection locations? I've heard it called L360A, but I'm not certain of much about it. These pics were taken just a few hours after dropping into the tank. He looks much better now with a lot more gold on him today.

Cannot really make out if his markings come all the way up around the head, what does he look like when he is not stressed......

Definitely not L37 - this import is a newer one I've only seen in the last few months. He lacks any reticulated, worm-line patterns on the head and body. Mostly just yellow/black static patterns. I remember some vendors here selling them, and I am hoping one of them can chime in with a "rough" collection area.

this species was in a raffle on a forum, think ***********. dont remeber species atm

It's just a morph of L-360, though technically, it should be recieving its own number, seeing as how the original DATZ translation displayed the solid morph fish in their original publication.
