Yesterday I bought my first cichlid, he is about 1" long and was the largest, most colorful in the tank. Today I picked up some Hikari cichlid gold small floating pellets, which he really seemed to like. The prob is the pellets were still too big for him to fit in his mouth. He had to peck at it until it softened up.
Other than that he has taken over the 75G tank, zipping all over it then following me around waiting for food.
I have decide to get a canister filter for the tank once I have the funds.
I was looking at the Eheim 2073 @277 gph.
I have the 2080 on my 180G and it sold me on Eheim filters.
