My new leatherback bearded dragon

I loved my bearded dragon but my wife made me give it up when we had our kid. She was freaked out about salmonella. I think she was over reacting. Funny thing is that I sold him and his set up and used that money to buy my first fish tank. Now she has multiple large tanks all over the house. She should have stuck with the dragon.

I wish they would keep the distinct pattern that they have when they are small. Those are both beautiful dragons. Have fun.

Salmonella? Well... kinda, but even with the occasional turd sitting in the tank, contraction of it is very unlikely. One would need to eat feces or have it come in contact with your eyes or other part of your body with extremely permeable skin to actually get it.
