My New Lenticulata Pike

Just picked these guys or gals up and I am very proud of them. I got a great deal on them and I am excited to watch them grow. I paid for 6-8 inches and they came in around the 10-12 inch mark. I do not know the sex of them but I asked for two females or one female and one male. I am assuming I received two females. I will post some pictures but please do not judge them too hard because the bass splashed water all over the glass and I just got done feeding frozen krill lol. On top of that I was using a cellphone for the pics. All I have to say is when I first saw these guys I had a feeling I have never had before when I ordered fish in. I was actually super excited which does not happen very often.

** The pikes show very very little aggression towards each other and no aggression towards any other fish after a week. We will see if that changes. **

Also, I had the plants planted for about two hours before the bass did what they do best. (Completely tear them apart.)

It was wetspot. Call and talk to Anthony. They had the best packing I have ever seen.

I just got a lent from wet spot as well. Was suprised at the size too!

It took them a day for them to get ready to eat. I got them on krill and shrimp.

I got the same lents from Grey over a year ago, my avatar is of my female, so it gives you an idea of what you have to look forward too.

They both look to be females from what I can see of the dorsals. Try to get some shots with their dorsals up if you can. I know one of them is for sure a female though. The last picture, top pike is definitely female.

Congrats! They are awesome for sure. Be ready to separate and move fish, for its not a matter of if they will get aggressive, but a matter of when.
