My new lil monster to be

I haven't seen these for sale in my area for over a year. only ones i have seen are already like 20+ inches. i finally found one! he's about 1.5" and the coolest lil monster to be i ever seen haha. they look so cool this small but i can't wait til he's got some meat on him. already eatin like a beast. ate 3 full cubes of bloodworms to him self within the first 10 mins of adding him. he's in my 60gal growout then ill add him to the monster tank later.

how fast is rtc's growth rate?

oh, n i jus thought i'd share a pic of this giant gourami pond i saw in vegas. it was pretty cool.

lol i kno rallysman. i hope he does haha. i love growing true monsters from such a small size. its amazing to see how much they can grow in such little time. i grew my smallest silver from 3" and now this lil dude frmo 1.5". you can see how small he is if u compare it to that suctioncup holding my bubbletube to the glass.

its not "huge" lol. i call it my monster tank cuz it has all my monster fish in it. currently a 150gal but deff an upgrade is scheduled for mid 07. either a purchased 500+ gal or a diy plywood tank of 800+. unless i build an indoor pond itll be 1000+. thanks for looking

I think they grow like 2" a month.. Cute little guy though.

thanks, i like his 2 lil spots on the top of him. there's 1 at the front of his top fin and 1 and the end of his top fin. any chance on him keeping these spots? or will they fade away as he grows?

that frog is a lil business card holder. he likes to hang out in the slot where the business cards go lol. it'll come out later. it just seems both catfish like to hang out on it.
