Hello there, I just got a new Lima Shovelnose catfish. Yes I know they get big and I will be switching him to a bigger tank once he outgrows the 20gL. Something I noticed though is that he is very jumpy and skittish. Will he become less skittish over time? He has PLENTY of cover since I know they like to hide. How can I make him feel more comfortable. Please be nice, I'm new to monster fish keeping, and I would like some advice from people who have had these wonderful cats before.
