So, today, I finally was able to get my new fish, with free delivery
What I thought was going to a 15" Ornate, with a girth of around 2", turned into a 20" monster with a girth of a beer bottle. I kid you not, this fish is as big around as my wrist. I paid $45 for him, and realize he is going to be expensive, because at 15" he woulda been okay in my 75gal, but hes not 15", I need a tank that has a depth of 24" now. LOL I moved some of the other fish outta there, the big angel that was in there is in a different tank, along with my ctenopomas, until I have some time to sit and keep a CLOSE eye on him. They do fine with smaller bichirs. All mine are around 10", and they should be safe. They were all sitting in the tank congregating, I told my boyfriend that he is their God. HAHAHAHAHA
Also learned, I need new decorations and hidey spots for my fish. Fricken thing swam into a vase, and got stuck. Had to pull the vase out of the water and bust the vase open with a rock.
He's a bit scrapped up, but he should be okay...I'm scared to do water changes now.
