i picked him up yesterday. he's in my 55g with a pair of severums, who pay no attention to him, and a 2" banjo catfish. he's about 2.5" now so after he gets some size ill put him in my 125g with my regular senegal and delhezi

You know, I'm not normally an albino fan, especially with their reduced life spans, but they're starting to grow on me. He looks nice!

Albino sene can actually live the same as the regular captive breed sene if care for them very well.

That's what I was thinking.


The problems come from stock that hasn't had enough 'new blood' in it, and the stock begins to deteriorate and you see things such as zig-zag scales, depressed scales, health problems, etc... etc..
 
I love albino sens and this little one has great shape! Looks very content to sit over a meal of bloodworms :)

Very nice! Mine had a very quick growth rate up until 5 or 6 inches. Yours should be ready to play with the bigger boys in no time!
