hi guys ive had a few posts in aro section but not that much because im in pbass section a lot, but ive got a new friend since 2 days now. i have a silver aro for a year now, and the new friend is a jardini wich is about 10 cm:) he s pretty cool he even takes food off the bottom:D im really happy with him and i hope that he can go with my population of the big tank in a few months, because my big aro doesnt like other silver aro s, ive tryed that 3 times before, dont matter how big the other is he kills em:irked: thats why ive chosen jardini this time, they are known to have more fighting spirit right? so i was thinking he d be a better match, and hope that they get along, if not ill keep him alone

Keep an eye on them. I tried the same thing with a big silver (24"+). At first he chased the Jar like crazy but after two weeks, the Jar turned the tables.

ok thanks, the tank setup is going to be 300x100x80 cm with 2 cichla occelaris 1 silver aro 1 jardini aro 1 oscar cichlid 1 jaguar ciclid

best of luck. you may need three aros in there

nice jar

i guess you guys are right, put in a same sixe jaguar cichlid and a same sixe red bay snook and he totally destroyed them, bummer but ill build him his own tank
