So trying this in my community tank to see how it goes. Research indicates mixed results. Was worried about one of my cichlid fry but this little guy just flares up and stands him off.
Was time to move the cichlid into my bigger tank anyway, lol.

Never had a betta before, seemed boring in a little bowl. But after finding out he could work in my community tank, he adds some definite color.
Just a Petco special, but he's getting along so far.
